Speed, strength and power training for volleyball players ages 8–18, by age group, starting from a baseline we measure.
“Our daughter is a volleyball player and truly enjoys going to workouts at PPT and puts in 100% at every visit (3x/week).”
Who it’s for
My daughter did 3 months of intense training at Premier as she prepped to head off to college to play volleyball. Aaron and the other trainers tailored workouts to address her areas of weakness, and she showed some great improvement even in that short time.
How we train it
Every athlete starts with a baseline and is retested as often as weekly, and parents see the numbers in the Universal Speed Rating app. Our guarantee: at least 1 mph faster and 2–3 inches higher on the vertical in 90 days — or your training is on us.
Timed on the gates.
Acceleration, top speed and change of direction, measured so progress is visible.
Technique before load.
Foundational strength first, then loaded progressions as the athlete earns them.
Explosive lower body.
Jumps and explosive work, tested on the approach and standing vertical.
In Coach Aaron’s words
“The last two things we’ll do is the approach vertical and the standing stationary vertical. We like to see linear movement, lateral movement, and then lower body power.”

“I have never ran that fast in my life and we measured it today and I felt so much faster.”
“Training with Aaron has helped me increase my vertical tremendously, get really fast, and obviously lift heavier”
Before I came here I was hesitate to go back to volleyball and I could feel the weakness in my leg. Now I was able to play a full game with no issues.
We have seen great gains in her strength/speed/explosiveness in the gym, and also out in the real world.
My 14 year old son has been going to Premier Performance for about 2 years now and loves it. He feels stronger and has truly enjoyed all of the friends he has met in his workout group.
