What Is “Normal” Aging?
Our body is always deciding: Get younger or get older?
Some of this is beyond our control. Old cells are dying and new ones are being born to replace them.
But whether those new cells are strong and resilient or weak and diseased … we can control that.
If we treat our body like a couch potato and eat Apple Jacks for breakfast and ice cream for lunch … we will be rewarded with soft, weak muscles and a pantry filled with pills.
If we treat our body to strength training, lots of other physical activities – like walking, biking, swimming and hiking – plus real, wholesome foods that we’re genetically predisposed to thrive on, the reward will be quite different.
Imagine being in your 60s, 70s, or even 80s … and being able to do what you want, when you want, without your body ever holding you back.
The alternative is spending the last third or so of your life in pain and in doctor’s offices.
Not trying to scare you … just making sure you understand that the choices you are making today are writing the script for the role your future self will play in your life story.
Choose wisely.
