3 Things I have learned from COVID 19

As I sit here and type this, my kids are watching Blaze and the Monster Machines and the wife is planting flowers.

Its been almost a month since the gym has been shutdown due to the government mandate, but that has not stopped us from delivering great workouts to our clients. I have had clients use mainly body weight for exercise and whatever else they can find within their home to resistance band training. Here are the top 3 things that I have learned during the time.

1) Family time has been great. The kids have been home from daycare for an entire month, so we have been playing outside, watching movies, and putting together puzzles. They have seen me a ton more since I can train folks in the comfort of my own home via FaceTime or Zoom. I really think it also helps clients see the family and meet them, heck even the dogs. We have all been tied to staying at home and seeing someone other than me on a daily basis gives others a smile. This whole work from home stuff I could get used to it.

2) Clients can adapt to any workouts scenario. It doesn’t matter if you only have a resistance band and body weight, we can adapt to the circumstance if needed. Not only have a lot of folks done this, but it has been great. I think it helps keep clients on track with their goals and objectives. Nothing worse than quitting for a couple of week due to the circumstances. Its even tougher to restart.

Even though May 1st is the official reopen date, it doens’t mean that things will ever be back to normal. We may have to accept the fact that virtual training might keep us safer, but also keep us on track more than ever. Accountability has been huge as well. Even if you are not on Zoom Calls or FaceTime, the daily check ins are making an impact.

If you haven’t started with us on our virtual training, today might be the day to get started.

3. Patience-Its taking a ton a patience to work from home and keep two kiddos busy. Sometimes they are playing other times they are wrestling in the middle of workouts calls. At the end of the day I now know how their teachers at school feel. Tired, worn out, and just needing an extra cup of spark.

I could go on and on, but these are the main 3.

P.S. - Whenever you're ready... here are 3 ways I can help you:

1. Let's Talk About Your Goals.

Most gyms want you to simply adapt to their program, but I want to help you achieve your goal is the best possible way for you.

If you'd like to get on a personal call and discuss what you'd like to achieve and get my help in developing a plan to get you there, I'm happy to get on a free coaching call to help.

2. Train With Me...For FREE.

If you'd like to join our 7 Day Trial for FREE…Virtual Training….I'd love to have you as my guest. Training online is new and can be out of someone's comfort zone, so I want to make it as easy as possible for you to see if this is the best place for you to reach your goals.

Just reply with 'Train' in the subject line and we'll figure out what type of session you'd enjoy most and when joining us online would be convenient for you.

3. Try My 4 Week At Home Workout Program.

I'm going to be taking a few new clients through a 28 day at home workout program to help them look and feel great as they get back into a routine..
