We all do better with a coach.

Even coaches.

That’s right … I’m a coach … and I have a coach, too.

Several of them, actually.

You see, I’d like to think that I’ve always been a good trainer and nutrition coach. But not long after turning that passion for helping people into a business, I realized that … to put it bluntly … I wasn’t very good at business. So I hired the best fitness business coach on the planet, and he and his team have made it possible for me to do what I love and help more people.

Had I not sought out that help and support, I probably wouldn’t be sitting here writing this newsletter that you’re reading.

And that would be bad … because that would mean I would no longer be doing something I love to do, that was helping me and a lot of other people, just because I was too stubborn to ask for help.

The same logic applies to fitness. Here are my top 5 reasons to have a fitness coach:

Goal-Setting: If you don’t know your destination, it’s going to be pretty difficult to reach it.

Accountability: You’ll be amazed how your behavior changes for the better when you have someone checking up on you and making sure you’re sticking with your plan.

Reassurance: Things will go wrong. There will be bad days. Having someone to “pick you up” and keep you moving forward is key.

Efficiency: Who has time to waste standing around a globo-gym with no plan while waiting for equipment they don’t know how to use to become available? Not you. Not having a coach is a huge waste of time.

Results: Simply put, having a plan – and someone to help you execute it correctly and hold you accountable to it – is going to improve your results.

We all do better with a coach. Even coaches :-)
