Grand Canyon
We all get older.
It’s inevitable.
I don’t care whether you’re 25, 35, 45, 55, 65 or 75 … you’re older now than you were when you started reading this email.
No doubt you’ve heard the expression, “Age is just a number.” And it’s true. It’s not how old we are … but rather, how we’re aging.
There are 30-year-olds who are obese, taking six types of medication, and will need back surgery before they’re 40.
And there are 70-year-olds who’ve never ingested any medication except aspirin … or maybe an antibiotic when they were sick ... and who hike the Grand Canyon once a year.
No matter how old you are now, you are going to be older tomorrow … and the next day … and the next.
So the question becomes, “What do you want?”
Do you want to be dependent on medication and orthopedic surgeries to navigate the last few decades of your life?
Or do you want to hike the Grand Canyon when you’re 70?
If you want the latter, the time to start strength training is now.
Getting stronger is the Fountain of Youth … and the Holy Grail of Health.
Embrace strength.
Give your body the blueprint to work for you … not against you.
Oh, and the best part?
It’s never too late.
