Why are so many scared to get started with......A Fitness Routine?

I was proposed this question the other day, so I figured I would give you my thoughts.

Why are so many people scared to get started with a Fitness Routine?

The #1 reason why so many are scared to scared to start a fitness routine or even work with a trainer is because they are SCARED!!

Scared of how weak and out of shape they are. Scared of what other people in the gym will tend to think of them. Scared of failure. Scared of how they look. Scared of rejection.

I work with a ton a people in a years time. Most come in and don’t know what to expect. They often say, “Well aren’t you just like all the other trainers.” My response is always something like, “What other trainers?” I would almost guarantee you that each and every person who I come in contact would say Im not like the other trainers in town. I have a certain approach to make you feel comfortable, no matter what level of fitness you are. We take it step by step, so you are able to build on your confidence.

I’m not intimidating, I don’t want to CRUSH YOU, make you so SORE that you can’t come back to the gym, or even make you crawl out of the gym. I wouldn’t call those folks trainers either.

My job is to help you become the best version of yourself. Help you do things that you didn’t even think you were capable of. Run a marathon, Lift heavy things, lose weight, play in the adult league for softball without getting hurt.

For Example:

Like a 65 year old woman who can deadlift 95lbs on the bar without experiencing low back pain, or the 80 year old man who can who can now push 2x his bodyweight on a sled down the turf. Or even the athlete who isn’t on the starting roster for whatever reason become the starter his senior year.

Anything is possible if you have the right people in your corner.
