Why we never succeed with things? We are all LIARS!
I was talking to one of my Business Mentors today and he had asked if I read one of his emails that he sent out. I was on a Zoom call and I just so happened to glance at it, but never opened it.
There was a key quote in there that I think everyone should read and understand. It even took me a few times to read it just so I absorbed it, So here it is:
"One of the biggest reasons that most people never succeed at high levels is because they are pathological liars." Craig Ballantyne
I can tell you that I struggle with the lies to myself on a daily basis: 1) My Business will not be were i need it to be without 20 more people 2) Im not sure any of my clients are getting results 3) Does anyone really like working out, or do they just come in to hang out.
These are some of the thoughts that run through my head on a daily basis. Lies, Lies, and more Lies. Telling myself these lies will beat me down and make me not want to continue serving the people i serve and being the best Trainer in Williamson County.
I think this holds true to our habits and things we want to achieve with our Health and Fitness Goals. We hide behind the lies of why we can’t do the things necessary to be successful. We have our internal story of Why we CAN’T, instead of WHY we CAN.
So, I am here to tell you to start taking action and leave the LIES behind. No-one wants to hear them. We have to want it bad enough that we start doing something about IT.
